Billy Martin Signed Ball Inscribed to DiMaggio
This one-of-a-kind autographed baseball links generations of Yankees legends. An authentic American League baseball from Bobby Brown's era as league president, this NRMT ball is signed right on the sweet spot in blue ballpoint ink by Billy Martin. To the left of his signature, in the same ink, "To DiMaggio Thanks for coming on my day" is written. On the other side of the baseball, the date "8/10/86" is written in black, ballpoint pen, a reference to Billy Martin Day at Yankee Stadium, when the infamous skipper's #1 was retired by the ballclub. The Martin signature and inscription are both of high quality - 8/9 out of 10 - and sure to please any serious collector.
