Busch Stadium’s Final Home Plate

Busch Stadium’s Final Home Plate

This is the final home plate used by the both Cardinals and the other National League teams during Busch Stadium’s final season of 2005. Five-sided, 17” x 8 1/2” x 8 1/2” x 12” x 12” cut to a point at rear. That’s a lot of numbers to describe that special piece of real estate that pitchers and batters have been battling over for more than a hundred years. This home plate was fought over by the best the NL had to offer. Special Note: The Final Home Plate Will Be Used On “Opening Day- 2006” in the new Busch Stadium and then removed after the first homestand in 2006 to be delivered to the winning bidder of this prized piece of memorabilia. <br>(Estimate $10,000 - $15,000)
