Earliest Known Hank Aaron Signed Baseball (1953-54 Caguas) with Matching Team Photo

Earliest Known Hank Aaron Signed Baseball (1953-54 Caguas) with Matching Team Photo

From Hank Aaron's back pages, this team signed baseball is from his 1953-54 stint with the Criollos del Caguas in Puerto Rico before he made it to the majors!!! Caguas won that Caribbean World Series, and this is the earliest known baseball signed by Hank Aaron. Official Puerto Rican League baseball by Wilson with 18 signatures including Mickey Owen. Overall EX-MT with the Aaron, a beauty. His signature is scripted in a simplified, almost childlike scrawl. Has a great "Negro League" feel to it. A most important piece that should not be overlooked. The photo is a bit rough, but is the style only given to players (this to the legendary Vic Power).
