Extremely Rare Early 1900s Figural Football Cigar Humidor with Matching Lidded Mug
Two magnificent circa 1907 porcelain pieces, these are from the Earl Christy series. Christy was a famed illustrator of the era and this Ivy League series is one of his most famous works. 1) Yale football mug is a large figural football standing 7” tall. Wonderful pop-up lid swath sports with figural baseball head in metal top open. 2) Rarest of the rare is this cigar humidor which is the first we have seen. Best of all is glazed figural burning cigar at top, measures 8" tall. NM condition.
