Offered are rare pieces of Pittsburgh baseball history direct from the estate of the Pirates former Traveling Secretary, Lawerence Coller. 1) 1909 catcher's mitt and baseball hat pin with raised lettering, "June 30, 1909-Pittsburgh," was created and presented in recognition of the opening of Forbes Field (EX). 2) 1927 black on gold press pin. Reads, "World Series Pittsburgh-Forbes Field-Press-1927" (EX+). 3) 1960 World Series press pin (EX-MT). 4) Two leather bound scrapbooks with over forty years of Pirates related newspaper clippings, William McKechnie, Jewel Ens, and Pie Traynor Testimonial programs, 1936 line-up card, Eight 8"x10" photos and much more. Overall condition is VG-EX.
