Hand Painted Baseball Collection (11)
This lot of 11 hand-painted baseballs celebrates the careers of some of the best players ever to set foot on the diamond. Six of the baseballs, featuring Honus Wagner, Babe Ruth, Ty Cobb, Mickey Mantle, Willie Mays and Lou Gehrig, were painted by artist Gary Guerra. An additional three baseballs, commemorating the careers of Babe Ruth, Rogers Hornsby and Ty Cobb, were hand-painted by artist Eric Black. The final two baseballs are each Official American League balls featuring paintings of Joe DiMaggio; one was drawn by Erwin Sadler, and the other by Ross. All of the baseballs are in NRMT condition.
