Gorgeous photo of a young Cassius Clay (high school years), double matted to 16x20” and nicely framed to 22x26”. Bears a beautiful perfect blue sharpie signature, “Cassius Clay”. Mint. Comes with replica boxing gloves manufactured for his 1960 Olympic lightweight match. By Everlast, one is multi-pastel colored, hand painted bearing a photo of Ali. Painted with “USA” and 5 Olympic rings in black. Signed in black sharpie, “Muhammad Ali”. On palm side is written “SAK 148/250” in black sharpie. The other glove is solid red with printed, “Cassius Clay Quarter Finals Clay vs. Shatkov Clay Wins by Knockout – Semi Finals Clay vs. Madigan Clay Wins on Points- Finals Clay vs. Pietrykowski Clay Wins on Points 1960 Olympic Gold Medal Winner”. Clay was a high school student when he won the gold medal. He has personally confirmed that he threw his gold medal into the Ohio River.
