Rocky Marciano Heavyweight Champion In Person Appearance Poster
Rocky Marciano stares out from this vintage fight poster and invites the reader, "Let's meet in person". The boxing heavyweight champ was promoting a bout, that he would referee, between his sparring "pardner" JP Reed and Bob Baker in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The framed poster measures 18"x 21" and appears in G/VG condition. The original folds are visible and there are three major tears that have been repaired. Regardless, the poster looks great mounted behind the glass, safe from any further damage. The graphics are crisp and the photo of Marciano, with a crooked not-quite smile, is priceless.
