Ted Kluszewski Cincinnati Reds Jersey

Ted Kluszewski Cincinnati Reds Jersey

Here's an intriguing item that was originally obtained from Rawlings: A sleeveless, zipper-down Cincinnati Reds vest with Ted Kluszewski's name misspelled on the back that was likely some sort of prototype or sample jersey. This cotton-blend jersey is in very nice condition with Rawlings tag in the collar and washing instructions on the front tail. The Reds logo is stitched on the front and "Kluzewski" (sic) and "8" on the back. Interesting note: Kluszewski did not wear the number 8 until he after he had left the Reds in 1958, and this appears to be from the early 1960s. The four-time All-Star first baseman was known for his bulging biceps, leading "Big Klu" to cut off his uniform sleeves to accommodate.
