Ted Williams Personally Used Spinning Rod and Reel

Ted Williams Personally Used Spinning Rod and Reel

Known primarily for his prowess on the baseball diamond, particularly at the plate, Ted Williams was also an avid fisherman and even hosted his own TV show about fishing. This spinning rod and reel were personally used by Williams, who was inducted into the IGFA Fishing Hall of Fame in 2000, just a few years before his death. The set was part of Williams' personal collection before being displayed in the Ted Williams Museum, and both come with COA from the museum. Signed "Louis No. 1" book by Tom Hollatz to Ted. Rod is in a traveling case that has Ted Williams sticker featuring facsimile signature.
