How much would you pay for Joe Namath's fur coat?

How much would you pay to own Joe Namath's iconic fur coat, worn in the 2016 Iron Bowl broadcast during the goodbye tribute to Verne Lundquist?

The coat, made by Henig Furs, is up for grabs now at Leland's Auctions, with a starting bid of $10,000.

So far, there haven't been any bids, but the auction house says the jacket alone, without the fact that it's been worn--and signed--by Namath, retails for $8,000. The auction ends on August 17, 2018 at 12 a.m. ET.

Here's an excerpt of the description of the coat on the Lelands website:

This trademark piece was worn by Mr. Namath in the famous 2016 Iron Bowl broadcast of the Auburn-Alabama game. In a tribute to retiring Verne Lundquist, a gleeful Broadway Joe donned the coat and paid tribute, even kissing the broadcasting legend while Lundquist quipped, "My career is complete!" Magnificent coat signed inside, "Stay Warm, Joe Namath, Roll Tide!" Huge signature measures 7x7".
