Ted Kennedy Spitting Image (16")

Ted Kennedy Spitting Image (16")

All original latex puppet was taken from the set of Spitting Image (1984), just one of several hundred famous personalities lampooned on the TV series. All puppets portrayed as political cartoons, this disturbingly life-like caricature of Senator Ted Kennedy is as he was during the 1980 campaign for the U.S. Presidency. The figure’s complexion is latex, painted in vivid detail including every wrinkle in his face, down to the real gray hairs on his head, and stubble on his chin. Best is the instrument coming out of his back, which allows you to maneuver his eyes in their sockets. He is wearing a white shirt, polka dot J. Crew tie, and a pin with his own photo surrounded by the words, “Ted Kennedy For President in 1980.” Figure is 16” tall and encased in plastic cube.
