Circa 1910 "Fan-Taz" 5-cent syrup dispenser is one of only a handful known. Heavy porcelain, baseball-shaped dispenser once adorned the counter-top of a soda shop in a world known to us now only in Norman Rockwell paintings. Beautiful graphics present the “Fan-Taz” brand complete with baseballs and a detailed bat. “Drink of the 'Fans’” and “A Pennant Winner” appears below. Condition is remarkable with some of the original gilding still apparent on the raised seams of the baseball-shaped dispenser and crazing throughout. The porcelain ball pump is perfect and suggests a later origin. A simply fan-taz-tic piece with baseball and folk art appeal.
