(12) Mickey Mantle Signed SpecAthlete Notarized Signatures
Presented is a lot of twelve Mickey Mantle SpecAthlete notarized signatures. Each signature is on an 8x10" paper of simulated parchment. At the top of each page is Mantle's name, and under Mantle's name is a 2.25x3.5" area called "Lifetime Statistics" that gives extensive Mantle career hitting totals. Under the statistical area is a listing termed "Major Achievements." In bullet point format, 13 Mantle achievements are listed. To name a few: He was the most powerful switch-hitter of all time; Won three AL MVP Awards; Spent entire career (18 years) all with the Yankees; Hit over 50 home runs twice in his career; Hit over .300 ten times; Led the AL in home runs four times; As a World Series performer, he hit a record 18 home runs in 65 games; Named to the All-Star squad 16 times; Won the Triple Crown in 1956 (.353, 52, 130). Elected to Hall of Fame in 1974. Near the bottom of each page is a box, about 2x5.25" in which Mantle has signed his name in black ink from a marker. Mantle, as is usual, has signed his name in his exemplary handwriting. Kathleen Hampton, a notary public from the State of Texas has signed the page and dated the signature as the 9th day of September in 1990.
