1814 Chester A. Arthur Signed Bank Check to His Wife (PSA)
This unique keepsake is a bank check signed by the 21st President of the United States, Chester A Arthur, who occupied the Oval Office from 1881-85. Signed on September 10th, 1814, it is made out to his wife, "E.L.H Arthur" in the amount of $100. The back of the check is signed by J.S Rockwell as well as Arthur's wife, who passed away before he became President. Arthur's claim to fame was assuming the presidency after the assassination of James Garfield. Comes authenticated and encapsulated by PSA.
