1868 Wilkes Spirit of The Times Newspaper Bound Volume with Baseball
Hard bound issues of Wilkes' Spirit of the Times sports magazine from January to June 1868. The 26 weekly issues have extensive coverage of rowing, chess, draughts, cricket, swimming, horse racing, cock fighting, boxing and much more. This edition is in fine condition. The boards have some minor bumping and paper loss at the corners and there is some separation from the spine. The spine is also somewhat loose but no pages are loose. The inner pages are very good condition. Some have overall spotting, but there is minimal edge wear and/or tearing. Wonderful book!
