1868 Yale Hoffman House Baseball Welcome Card
It is quite hard to believe that this welcome card for Yale at the Hoffman House dates from May 23, 1968. The quality is exceptional with the ink as vibrant today as it was over 140 years ago. The paper quality is EX with clean edges, no wrinkles, and even devoid of age discoloration or toning. The welcome card has beautiful border decoration as well as a lovely baseball motif illustrated in the center of the card. There is some writing on the back of the card which appears to be a few names, perhaps players. The rareness of this item, coupled with the outstanding condition makes this a truly great lot.
