1870-1905 Collection of Unique Entry Passes to Saratoga & Monmouth Park (4)
Handsome badges in rich pristine color: The Saratoga pair includes an 1870 stand day badge and a trainer's badge for 1905 featuring the Great Republic Stakes won by Sysonby. Also includes two Monmouth Park passes, one for the first summer meeting 1881, for entry to the quarter-stretch, paddock and club house, and winning this day were Horse of the Year Hindoo, and Checkmate, the top handicap male star; Thora, the top 3-year-old filly; and Onondaga, the top 2-year old colt that year. The 1886 Monmouth Park subscriber’s badge witnessed two stakes races that day, including the Monmouth Handicap. All are extremely rare and important, have the strings intact and are in EX-MT condition. Average size 2.5x2.5".
