1880's Polo Grounds Victorian Scrap
One of our favorite 19th century baseball pieces. Colorful trade card style "scraps" were pasted into scrapbooks of the day. Pictures a horse drawn trolley of the 1880's. At the top the advertising reads, "Base Ball Match This Afternoon…Polo Grounds…New York vs Cleveland." Stunning lithography in the kind of colors you dream about. 11x5" and some wear to the motorman on the end o/w EX-MT. Framed.
