It is portrays Hall of Fame Jockey Edward "Snapper" Garrison, signed and dated 1887 by Charles L. Zellinsky. Zellinsky was an American artist who was a lithographer for Currier & Ives specializing in horses and horse racing. Known for their prolific work in producing prints and lithographs by artists, this firm's lithographs depicted American life for the masses.
