A delightful pair, these books feature exceptional 19th century graphics. They are in unimprovable EX-MT condition and are likely originally from an archive as they are simply too perfect to be from a mere mortal owner. These publications were known as "Condition Books," distributed by racing associations to owners and trainers representing upcoming races listing conditions, purses, distances, etc. The 1892 book consists of 66 pages with 111 for 1893. This exact pair was exhibited for the past two years in the National Museum of Racing at Saratoga. A highly-placed museum executive revealed that he had NEVER come across one of these condition books.
