1900-1950 Baseball's Greatest Lineup Signed Testimonial Program
Recently unearthed in Philadelphia, the greatest ever adorns this special 8-pager (8.25x10.87"). Includes eight signatures: Cy Young, Lefty Grove, Pie Traynor, Mickey Cochrane, Tris Speaker, Carl Hubbell, George Sisler and Connie Mack, who made the choices for this July 7, 1952 luncheon at the Bellevue-Stratford in Philly. This is where they presented the All-American Board of Baseball signed scrolls. This is the first signed program we have seen. Program has partial fold, otherwise EX; signatures overall NM condition. Comes with sportswriter Fred Meyers' original date place card for the event.
