1900 Connie Mack Handwritten and Signed Letter With Great Content

1900 Connie Mack Handwritten and Signed Letter With Great Content

Prior to his days in Philly, during which he became a legend, Mack penned this letter, dated August 28, 1900, while still managing the Milwaukee Baseball Cub. On team stationary he has requested that fellow manager, D.A. Grauh (Indianapolis), assemble a hand picked list of players for a game against his squad later in the month. Confident in the inability of his chosen opponents, Connie included this quote: "expect to have no trouble in beating any team on the coast". Closed with "Yours Truly, Connie Mack" at the end. Most of the writing is 8/10, with the signature being 7/10. The 8.5x11" page has one horizontal and two vertical folds, VG-EX.
