This horseshoe and actual hoof are from Bee Catcher, who was killed in a tragic spill. Delicate hinged top reads, "Bee Catcher, Property of John Walbot Esq." Top reads, "Winner of The United Hunt Steeplechase at Oaksey and The Maunsell Steeplechase at Bridgwater 1902...Killed in the Kimberley Steeplechase at Nottingham May 26, 1902...Trained by W.A. Villar." Shoe is mounted to his hoof on the bottom, EX condition.
