1902 Montreal AAA Stanley Cup Press Ribbon & Pin
Important turn-of-the-century memento from Stanley Cup Champion Montreal “Triple A’s. Press ribbon worn by newsmen as they welcomes the returning heroes of the 1902 Stanley Cup Finals in Winnipeg. The Victorious AAA squad easily handled their western foes in the March three-game series. The ribbon, proclaiming “Daily Witness, Welcome to the Montreal Hockey Team, Champions of the World and holders of the Stanley Cup, March 1902” is five inches in length with original stick pin. Montreal AAA logo at the top. In very good to excellent condition. A fantastic find dating back to a period of the game from which very little memorabilia has survived.
