1905 Opening of Belmont Park Official Program
It is known as "The Championship Track" because nearly every major champion in racing history has run at Belmont Park since its inception, including each of the 11 Triple Crown winners. From its Grand Opening on May 4, 1905, feast your eyes on this vintage program. The pages have split at the spine and the cover is slightly stained but is still very presentable. Interestingly, in its first 15 years, Belmont Park featured clockwise racing in the English tradition.
