1907 Detroit Tigers Pennant-Winning Banquet Program w/tipped in Team Photo
Amazing program from this banquet "tendered by the citizens of Detroit for the Detroit Baseball Club". We have never seen this before. Highest quality. Team photo "The Classic Image" of Cobb and friends" is "A Separate Piece" similar to a yearly glassy postcard with blank back and smaller format (3.12"x3.25"). Parchment paper with tipped in imagery with Gold writing on Tiger green.The Cadillac Hotel hosted the affair and the program is written in English, but the menu, featuring "FILET DE MIGNON BEARNESE" is all in French. Tapped page. Possibility it was designed and printed by Elbert Hubbard of the Raycraft Studios. Hubbard, who dies on the Lusitania. Seemingly in Arts and Crafts Movement style.
