1908 Baseball Magazine Inscribed Presentation Edition with Volume 1 Number 1
The first eight issues ever of Baseball Magazine are contained in this exciting cloth bound presentation edition. Signed on the flyleaf "Your dear friend John F. Morrill, Jacob C. Morse 'Jake' May 09," this is inscribed from Baseball Magazine President Morse to John Morrill, the Captain of the 1880s Boston team. This is the complete year of 1908, including the extremely rare Volume 1 Number 1 (May 1908). Many are never-seen versions stamped on cover "Sample Copy": June 1908 "Casey At The Bat" (#2), July 1908 "Uncle Sam" (#3), August 1908 with Elbert Hubbard article (#4), "Cy Young Number" September 1908 with fabulous Cy Young cover (#5), October 1908 (#6), November 1908 (#7) with awesome Mathewson/Lajoie/Donovan/Brown/Walsh/Willis cover, December 1908 with Captain's Burr & Coy of Harvard & Yale football (#8).
