1910 St. Francis Xavier Hockey Champions Collegiate Photographic Needlepoint
Beautifully crafted original needlepoint, references Saint Francis Xavier College, of Nova Scotia, Canada. Real photo of individual members of the ice hockey team is in the center. Photo's printing reads, "Inter-Collegiate Champions - Winners From Harvard". Needlepoint features two Xavier flags, in blue, each with a white X signifying Xavier. Various equipment including two baseball bats, a football, and two crossed hockey sticks, are knitted at the bottom. Framed 12x13.75". The needlepoint shows substantial staining, and the wooden frame has some scratches. Backing shows flaking from age.
