1911 Cleveland vs. Boston Baseball Program with Joe Jackson
It would be another eight years before Shoeless Joe would fall from grace. In the pencil-marked center scorecard of this thrilling program, the future Black Sock is listed as batting third and playing right field for the Indians. Interesting to note that co-conspirator Eddie Cicotte is listed on the Red Sox roster, though future HOF’er Smoky Joe Wood stood on the mound that day. Condition of the twenty-page publication is a strong VG-EX, with no more wear than might be expected from a day at the ballpark nine decades ago.
