1912 Automobile Trophy (15" tall)
Breathtaking silver-plated loving cup comes from a very prominent estate in upstate New York. Artistry is second to none, with a handcrafted touring car at top and three grapevines and winged wheels at the base. Engraving reads, "Elizabeth Daily Journal Automobile Trophy- Won By Walter E. Camping for Largest Sales of Motor Cars, Jan. to June 1912." Manufacturer's stamp ("Derby Silver Co.") under base. A true masterpiece of early automobilia.
