1912 L1 Leather Napoleon Lajoie
Issued by Helmar Tobacco Co. in 1912 as a premium with its "Turkish Trophies" brand of cigarettes. Lajoie is one of twenty-five baseball players in the issue. It portrays him with a drawing on a horse-hide shaped piece of leather. This radiant piece is Near Mint. The back features a small amount of residue left over from a previous price tag. Simply magnificent.
