1913 World Series Game 2 Ticket Stub PSA PR 1
New York Giants ticket stub issued for Game 3 of the 1913 World Series against the Philadelphia Athletics. Graded PR 1 by PSA. This is a rare ticket stub in any condition and one of only five examples listed in the PSA Population Report. It is also the first 1913 Game 3 World Series ticket stub we have ever offered. The "Game 2" printed on the ticket denotes the second home game for the Giants, which was the third game of the World Series (the clubs alternated home games during the Series). Bullet Joe Bush went the distance for the Athletics in their 8-2 win over the Giants in Game 3. The victory gave the A's a 2-1 lead in the Series, which was won by Philadelphia in five games. The ticket (3.25x2") displays light creasing and both paper loss and paper residue on the reverse from having been removed from an album.
