1914 Boston Braves Team Photo by Underwood
Vintage wire photo of the 1914 World Champion Boston Braves. Dubbed, “The Miracle Braves”, Boston won 51 of its last 67 games of the season and charged from last place in July to first in October; claiming the NL pennant and the World Championship. Hall of Famers Rabbit Maranville and Johnny Evers are in the photo along with 26 game winners Bill James and Dick Rudolph. The picture has excellent contrast and a notation on the back saying, “1914 Boston Braves”. There is a crease on the right side, otherwise EX+.
