1915 Detroit Saturday Night Newspaper Advertising Display w/Ty Cobb
Interesting advertising piece from the early days of baseball. This paper display originally hung at a newsstand or a drug store and was specifically advertising the Detroit Saturday Night and their rather large and action-filled sports section. With a focus on the Detroit Tigers, there is a tremendous image of Ty Cobb across the top sliding into third. The bottom of the ad features a panoramic photo of the entire Detroit Tigers squad including Cobb on the far right. Securely framed, this piece has some fold marks present but appears to be in EX condition overall. 24x19" overall.
