1918 Tarzan Lobby Card Set in Original Envelope (9)
The original Tarzan, before sound and before swimmer Johnny Weismuller. Black & white lobby cards, plus the title card and the First National Exhibitor’s Circuit Envelope for “Romance of Tarzan”. “Romance of Tarzan” are the concluding chapters of “Tarzan of the Apes” from the book by Edgar Rice Burroughs. Tarzan is tempted by the “Temptress”, a vamp who loses in the end to Jane. Cards measure 8x10” and were printed by the Rotograph Co. of NY. Cards and the title cards have pinholes and range VG+ to EX. The envelope has some taped tears. Original release.
