1918 World Series Ticket Stub
Ironically, the Red Sox enjoyed one of their greatest World Series achievements in the home of the White Sox, defeating the Chicago Cubs for their fifth championship in as many tries - and the last one for 86 years! From Game 3 of that Fall Classic comes this rare stub that appears VG but has a small spot of paper loss on the back and some slight staining. The Cubs used Comiskey as its home park during that postseason due to its greater seating capacity. And despite limiting Boston to just nine runs in the Series (the fewest ever scored by a World Champion), the Cubs would come up short in October yet again.
