1919 Chicago Black Sox Photograph Signed by Cicotte (8x10”)
The team once so revered, ultimately was shunned by the baseball world, pose for this team photo, underlined by “American League Champions”. Many of us believe it should have read, “World Champions”. Signed by threes players, Schalk (signed twice), Faber, & Cicotte (hurler for the infamous "8 men out"). Nice black pen signatures are in NRMT condition. Photo is EX-MT. So tragic, this is the team that could have rivaled the great Yankees dynasty of the 1920's but instead - banned for life!
