1920's Movie Star Die-cut Card Compete Set of 10

1920's Movie Star Die-cut Card Compete Set of 10

Without par, one of the most attractive non-sport card sets we have seen. From Spain, these cards are each die-cut and in the fullest, most lavish color. They were issued by a candy company and are imprinted, "Chocolates Amatller." A complete set of ten: Charlie Chaplin, Harold Lloyd, Stan Laurel, Oliver Hardy, Lily Damita, Fanny Brice, Buster Keaton, and three members from Our Gang including Fatty. The come with advertising on the verso and, interestingly, some of the stars are misidentified (as was the case with many foreign cards). They are of a light cardboard. We have not seen a compete set before. Overall EX+.
