1920 World Series Collection
From the 1920 "World's Series," which saw the Brooklyn Dodgers bested by the Cleveland Indians, this fantastic lot of five items includes the following: A World Series at Brooklyn program, which is scored, has some chipping and loose pages, and in Fair condition; A rain check to Game 3 of the Series at Ebbets Field (VG) - written on the back is "BKN won game 2 to 1." Next in the lot is a very rare advertising card for World Series Night at the Brooklyn Press Club (chipped corner, looks to be removed from mounting on rear, otherwise VG). Last, we have two used 1920 World Series press ticket booklets. One, which was issued to sportswriter Sid Keener of the St. Louis Times, is just the front cover while the other, issued to Baseball Magazine, shows where tickets were torn. Both are in Good condition.
