1920s & 1930s New York Yankees Players & Trainers Signed Cut Collection w/Rarities (13) All JSA or PSA
Collection of eight cut signature examples of former New York Yankees players, plus the cut signatures of five former Major League baseball trainers. Each cut is accompanied by an individual COA and corresponding authentication label (affixed to the piece) from JSA except for the Bump Hadley signature, which has been encapsulated by PSA, (signature certified as "Authentic"). The signatures, scripted in a variety of inks, average 8/10. Seven of the signatures are penned on small cut newspaper/magazine photos that are individually affixed to an index card. The remaining signatures are on either index cards or small index-card size sheets. The Yankees players represented here are Red Rolfe, Benny Bengough, George Pipgras, Bob Shawkey (signed simply "Bob" at the end of a brief note), Walter Brown, Bump Hadley, Hank Severeid, and Mike Chartak. The five trainer signatures are those of Doc Painter (Yankees), Doc Schaeffer (Giants), Andy Lotshaw (Cubs), Doc Jorgensen (Pirates), and H. J. Weaver (Cardinals). The cuts are in Excellent condition overall.
