Nice football content of championship game mentions Ohio, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Michigan. Tears. 3) 1960s "Shorty" Sunday by Henry Boltinoff. 4) 1929 Moon Mullins Daily by Willand. 5) 1925 Texas Slim by Ferd Johnson elaborate Sunday. Some chipping + brittle. Herald at top missing. 6-7) From the Rembrandt of Comic Art: Two Cliff Sterrett Originals. A) Sunday page of Polly and her pals with bizarre story of man making horseshoe tracks. Dog looks suspiciously like the work of George Herriman (unsigned). George Sterrett himself did the Sundays! B) 1929 " A Steeple Chase" is unknown strip and unsigned though obviously his work. Shows Herriman's style "Officer Pup" lurking around the corner. Paper loss of edge.
