1920s Bucky Harris Vintage Single Signed Baseball

1920s Bucky Harris Vintage Single Signed Baseball

Bucky Harris won World Series as a player and manager over his five decades in the game, and this very special ball was signed during his days as a second baseman, most likely with the Senators in the 1920s. Harris singles are very tough to come by, so to find one from his playing days is a virtual miracle. This official American League (Johnson) baseball with 1909 patent date shows some use and toning and is technically Very Good. The signature "Stanley Harris" on the sweet spot is in 7/10 black fountain ink. Overall, this ball has a spectacular appearance. Due to his long career as a player, manager and executive, Harris was voted into the Hall of Fame by the Veterans Committee in 1975.
