Unusual Christy Mathewson artifact features the Hall of Famer's handwriting on a document that looks to be a stock receipt. Dating circa 1920s, the paper - apparently torn from a book - measures 7x2" and has extensive writing in the hand of "Big Six," indicating that the security was "The Pennsylvania RR Co (stock)," dividend dates as "Quarterly (about) March 1st," and ending with his full name, "Registered in Name of Christopher Mathewson." Previously graded as a PSA 9 autograph, this was originally was sent to an autograph seeker by Mrs. Mathewson and she wrote the collector a letter stating this is one of the last items she had with Christy's handwriting. Back has additional writing apparently in relation to stock transactions, though we are uncertain as to whether this is in his hand. Encapsulated PSA Authentic Auto.
