1920s German Bobber Figure of a Cricketer.
Wonderful bisque fire sports a jointed “Bobbing Head” that is a figural cricket ball. This striker stands at the ready with bat in hand in marvelous hand painted bisque. Standing a plump 5.5” tall it is hand painted and artist signed at the base in what appears to be “I. Massall.” Detail is marvelous and is has an obviously influence from the fantastic character china figures of this same time period by the German firm Schaffer & Vader. NRMT.
