1922 Philadelphia Phillies Team-Signed Baseball (ex-Jimmy Ring Collection)
Team-signed baseball from the 1922 Philadelphia Phillies contains over 20 autographs. Official National League (Heydler) ball includes: Art Fletcher, Wid Conroy, Irwin "Kaiser" Wilhelm, Leo Miller, Lee Meadows, Frank Parkinson, Roy Leslie, Curt Walker, Lerton Pinto, Walter Henline, and more; there is also a "1922" notation in unknown hand. Stampings remain amazingly bold considering that the ball is over a century old, and there look to be a few areas of minor surface scuffing, which might indicate that this was game used though we cannot confirm that. Signatures average 4/10, though some have badly faded. Terrific artifact originates from the family of 1919 World Champion Jimmy Ring.
