1923 New York Yankees Stadium Seat
Straight from the outfield bleachers of the "House That Ruth Built" and beautifully restored, this flat-back stadium seat was utilized by Yankee fans for half a century of summers. It was later signed by Triple-Crown Outfielder Mickey Mantle, who signed the back of the top slat in black Sharpie (rating), while the front of the seat rail bears his familiar number 7 in white paint. During the restoration process, the slats and seat were brought to a natural tone instead of the traditional blue, giving it a bit more sophisticated look. There is a brass plaque in the center which reads: "YANKEE STADIUM BLEACHER SEAT 1923-1973 REMOVED DURING STADIUM RECONSTRUCTION 1973 YANKEE STADIUM, BRONX, NY." The seat measures roughly 23" x 32.5" and is in NM-MT condition with the top slat being loose but easily restorable. A tremendous piece of sports memorabilia!
