The age-old link between tobacco and seduction (confirmed with such panache by Bill and Monica) is wonderfully exhibited in this 1925 Cuban cigarette card album by the Trinidad y Hno tobacco company. Hundreds of numbered cards, each 1 7/8 x 2 1/2" and bearing the company trademark, feature sepia-toned images of women in various stages of undress mounted 15 to a page. Nicely detailed brown and gold cover of the album reads "Obsequio" ("Flattery") in the center surrounded by "Cigarros Album Exquisitos Postales" and the company's name. Inside pages bear the words "Pruebe and Compare" ("Prove and Compare") and inside the front and back covers are 8 x 10's of nudes. Album 10 x 12" with heavy damage on the covers, especially the back. Both covers separated from the inside pages, which are bound by shoelace-type ties along the spine. Cover and pages G, cards mostly VG-EX.
