1925 Dominion Chocolate V31 Athletic Stars Starter Set w/ CFL HOF Football, Baseball, Golf
Remarkable and seldom seen 1925 V-31 Dominion Chocolates Athletic Stars starter set. The cards were produced in Canada and are black and white. The collection consists of 59 cards out of the 180 in the complete set. Cards depict skaters, swimmers, baseball, football, golf, track, rowing and other sports. The cards originally came with tabs for a prize but are rarely seen with them. However, two cards, #19 Bloomfield and #41 Snyder, have the tabs in this lot. The lot contains key card Joe Breen, pictured as a baseball player, who was an early CFL pioneer and CFL HOFer. The lot also includes one Paulin Chambers card of hockey player Harry Oliver. The cards are in overall excellent condition but are missing tabs. A chance to acquire a rarely seen partial set.
