1926 Golden Jubilee Baseball in Box
Beautiful vintage baseball made to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the National League in 1926. Comes in its original case which measures approximately 8 1/2" X 4 1/2" and is 3" tall. The top of the box says, "Golden Jubilee, National League, Feb. 2, 1926." Inside the box is elegant crushed blue velvet with places to hold two baseballs. One ball is still inside, an official Spalding National League ball which features small photographs of all National League Presidents from the league's founding in 1875 until 1926. There is a stamped signature of then current NL boss John A. Heydler over the Spalding Trademark. The ball shows only very minor discoloration and is otherwise EX-MT+.
